Nice. Wonderful stained glass windows on the building.

I'm curious/nosy: Does your church family know about your blog? Are they okay with things like referring to God as She?

thanks everybody!

dan--how cool is this? the stained glass windows were designed and installed by a brother and sister who go to the church. much, if not most, of the art work in the church is local!

no, i have not shared this blog with our new church family. i'm still "gun-shy" about that after Protection rejected me. (and i'm so glad they did!) i have mentioned that i am a blogger but have not shared my actual blog with them.

as far as my referring to God as She i think it would be a mixed bag. they gave me a prayer shawl and the prayer attached to it referred to mother and father God.

i like to use she simply because it's rare and i think we need to honor the feminine aspects of God just as much as we do the masculine ones that can be idolized.

we're not in a "bastion" of liberalness or anything like that. however, the people are very loving, kind and generous.

Well, I'm glad things are going so well. Keep preachin', sister. Use words, if you have to...
